Casa Youth Sunday School Class meets each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, room 305. Our purpose is to help young people (usually ages 12-18) grow in their relationship with God, understand the teachings of the Bible, and develop strong Christian values that they can apply to their daily lives.

Casa Youth Sunday school provides an opportunity for teenagers to learn and explore the Bible in a deeper way. The goal is to help them understand God's word, develop a solid foundation of biblical knowledge, and see how scripture applies to their everyday lives.  Casa Youth Sunday school class helps youth understand how to develop and grow their own personal relationship with God, beyond what they may have learned as younger children. It's about fostering a faith that becomes their own—one that they can carry with them as they navigate adolescence and prepare for adulthood.  Casa Youth Sunday school is about more than just Bible study; it’s also about learning how to live as a Christian in the world. Lessons may focus on topics like integrity, kindness, forgiveness, humility, and making choices that reflect one’s faith. - The class can help students address real-life issues that they may face, such as peer pressure, relationships, social justice, and personal struggles, from a biblical perspective.

Casa Youth Sunday school provides a space for youth to build relationships with their peers and feel like part of a Christian community. It encourages them to share their faith, struggles, and victories in a safe, supportive environment. It also promotes accountability and spiritual growth as students encourage one another in their faith journey. One of our goals is to prepare youth for active service in the church and community. Youth Sunday school often emphasizes the importance of service, both within the church and in the broader community, teaching young people how to be leaders and active participants in God’s mission. Prayer is a central part of youth Sunday school. The class helps youth learn how to pray effectively and personally connect with God through prayer, while also encouraging them to participate in worship through song, testimony, and reflection.  As young people prepare to transition from childhood to adulthood, Sunday school provides guidance on making wise decisions, navigating challenges, and understanding their identity as children of God. This preparation is especially vital as they approach adulthood and begin to face new responsibilities in both their faith and the world.

In addition to Bible study, youth Sunday school often includes fun activities that foster fellowship and make learning about God enjoyable. Games, discussion groups, service projects, and social events help engage youth and keep them excited about coming to class each week.

Casa is a youth Sunday school class that will help to equip young people with a strong, personal faith that guides their decisions, behaviors, and relationships. It serves as a place where they can grow spiritually, build community, learn to serve others, and navigate the challenges of life with a Christ-centered perspective. Most importantly, it helps them understand how to live out their faith in a way that impacts their world for God’s glory.
