Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month by intinction, dipping the bread in the cup. All persons are welcome to the table of the Lord.
On Sunday, February 21, several members of Friends in Harmony will be our guest musicians at the 11:00 service. The men's a cappella chorus specializes in Barbershop Harmony.

A new Evening Prayer Team is meeting on Wednesday nights 8:00-9:00 pm. The group prays for concerns lifted by the congregation as well as concerns of the community and the world.
Faith in Action was a wonderful day of giving with eight different projects serving hundreds of people. Operation Christmas Child collected 207 shoeboxes. Follow the lead for more details.
God sent Christ at Christmas and Christ sends us. Jesus didn’t just happen—Jesus was sent with a purpose. This Advent study is designed to help us discover how, where, and why we are sent. Joining the author, Jorge Acevedo, on the journey are four young clergy who challenge us through story, art, and scripture. The Advent study will be held on Tuesday’s beginning December 1 with a simple supper at 6:00 pm and continues until 7:30 pm.
Today, Sunday, November 15, 2015, Helotes Hills UMC welcomed six new members through the celebration of confirmation. These members include Mackenzie Conner, Makayla Denn, Jon Gentile, Anna Schmelter, Julia Schmelter, and Mary Schmelter.
Because storms are predicted for the area for the next few days, the decision has been made to cancel the Family Fun Days activities. This event will not be rescheduled this year. The Patch will be open rain or shine. The Craft Sale will take place on Sunday, October 25, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on the Church Patio. We have many beautiful items including embroidered towels, a crochet blanket, tissue holders, wreaths and much more.
Our Life after Loss Grief Support class will begin October 18, 2015 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. This six week class is designed to help those who have lost a love one understand the process of grief. The class will meet October 25, Nov. 1, Nov.15, Nov. 22, and Nov. 29. November 15 class is the Grief Support Holiday workshop and is open to all.
Get ready to step up and donate new or gently used shoes and new socks to "A Walk In My Shoes" during the month of October at the Pumpkin Patch. The shoe drive will culminate on November 8, Faith in Action Service Sunday, with a delivery to Haven for Hope. This drop off will be one of our community service projects.
